Head Rest (Eva)

Artist's Commentary

“Head Rest (Eva) is an intimate portrait of Allan’s wife in a moment of quiet repose. Leaning her head against one hand, she meets the viewer with a gentle smile. The close composition and warm background keep attention on subtle shifts of expression rather than an outward narrative. Rooted in familiarity and attentive observation, the portrait preserves the stillness of the moment while leaving Eva’s thoughts open to the viewer.”
