Artist's Commentary

“Utopian Dream III turns the series inward, placing its dreamscape beyond the window of an intimate interior. A seated woman looks towards figures and forms recurring from the earlier paintings, allowing external landscape and private consciousness to overlap. The work occupies a place between waking and sleep, where aspiration and memory remain unresolved. Its alternative subtitle, Continuum, refers to a dream that remains open rather than arriving at a fixed conclusion.”
